La r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration ne s\u2019arr\u00eate pas lorsqu\u2019une personne quitte l\u2019h\u00f4pital. Chez les patients atteints de maladies respiratoires chroniques, une hospitalisation peut entra\u00eener une perte d\u2019autonomie et une diminution des capacit\u00e9s fonctionnelles. De plus, les personnes qui pr\u00e9sentent des exacerbations fr\u00e9quentes peuvent encha\u00eener les hospitalisations, ce qui accro\u00eet le risque de fragilit\u00e9 et complique leur r\u00e9tablissement. <\/span><\/p>

La sp\u00e9cialiste souligne l\u2019importance d\u2019assurer un suivi continu, personnalis\u00e9 et pluridisciplinaire apr\u00e8s une hospitalisation afin de pr\u00e9venir la fragilit\u00e9 et d\u2019aider les patients \u00e0 poursuivre leur r\u00e9tablissement une fois de retour \u00e0 domicile.<\/span><\/p>

\u00ab L\u2019un des principaux atouts du projet SHAPE est de ne plus se limiter \u00e0 un programme centr\u00e9 sur l\u2019h\u00f4pital, mais de se rapprocher de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de chaque patient, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un programme qu\u2019il peut suivre \u00e0 son domicile et poursuivre dans la dur\u00e9e. \u00bb<\/span><\/i><\/p>

L’H\u00f4pital universitaire de Bellvitge pilote l’essai clinique du projet SHAPE aupr\u00e8s de patients atteints de pathologies respiratoires<\/b><\/p>

Le service de pneumologie de l\u2019H\u00f4pital universitaire de Bellvitge est l\u2019un des cinq h\u00f4pitaux europ\u00e9ens participant \u00e0 l\u2019essai clinique de validation du projet SHAPE. <\/span><\/p>

Sa mission est d\u2019\u00e9valuer si un programme structur\u00e9 d\u2019activit\u00e9 physique adapt\u00e9e, mis en place apr\u00e8s la sortie de l\u2019h\u00f4pital, permet d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le r\u00e9tablissement des personnes atteintes de maladies respiratoires.<\/span><\/p>

\u00c0 cette fin, l\u2019h\u00f4pital recrutera un \u00e9chantillon de 100 patients atteints de pathologies respiratoires qui participeront \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude. L\u2019\u00e9quipe r\u00e9alisera une \u00e9valuation clinique pendant l\u2019hospitalisation, puis assurera un suivi apr\u00e8s la sortie afin de mesurer l\u2019impact du programme. Ce travail est men\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re coordonn\u00e9e par les \u00e9quipes de pneumologie, de soins infirmiers et de kin\u00e9sith\u00e9rapie respiratoire. Les s\u00e9ances d\u2019activit\u00e9 physique adapt\u00e9e sont quant \u00e0 elles assur\u00e9es par les professionnels de la Fondation Siel Bleu. <\/span><\/p>

La participation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital universitaire de Bellvitge est particuli\u00e8rement importante, car elle apporte les preuves scientifiques n\u00e9cessaires pour valider le mod\u00e8le SHAPE aupr\u00e8s des patients atteints de BPCO et d\u2019autres maladies respiratoires chroniques.
